PC Utilities - Comodo System Cleaner

Comodo System Cleaner

Comodo Registry Cleaner has a well-designed interface with simple, functional buttons to lead the user in the right direction every time. While it only promises to scan and clean your Registry, there's so much more to this freeware utility. When the program opens, it automatically displays some basic system information about your computer, and it also shows a Tip of the Day without the usual pesky pop-up box. Simply hit the scan button, and wait for the results. More advanced users can select the Optimize button for more options. When the scan is complete, Comodo Registry Cleaner displays results by category to help you decide if an entry should be removed or not. As a safeguard, a reminder lets users create a restore point before removing anything. If you like, you can schedule regular scans of the Registry to keep your system at peak condition. Apart from this it also includes start-up scan.

Features of Comodo Registry Cleaner:

Optimizes and repairs your Windows registry by running an in-depth scan to identify, remove or repair any unnecessary or corrupted entries. After running a scan, Windows will be able to access the information it needs from the registry much more quickly - meaning your computer will get an immediate performance and stability boost.

The Cleaning can be done in three phases:
Quick Clean: Quick clean will clean invalid entries from common registry location.
Normal Clen: Normal Clean will clean invalid entries from your entire registry.
In Depth Clean: This will clean your entire registry using heuristics.

Privacy Cleaner
Obliterates your digital paper trail by cleaning history, cache, cookies and usage records from Internet browsers, Windows locations and popular software.

The cleaning can be done in three phases:
Basic Clean: Basic clean will clean common usuage traces from the computer.
Normal Clean:  Normal Clean will clean all traces and common personal information.
Aggressive Clean: While Aggressive Clean will completely remove all the information from the computer.

Disk Cleaner

Over time your disk drives become cluttered with temporary Internet files, logs, needless archives, unused icons and duplicate files. Apart from eating up disk space, these junk files can make your computer work slower. Comodo Disk Cleaner takes care of this by identifying and deleting all unnecessary files on your computer.
This will identify the duplicate files and empty folders present in the system and gives an option for us to delete thus freeing up Disk Space.

Force Delete
Often when you want to delete or move a file you will see a message stating ‘You cannot perform the action because this file is used by another application’. 'Force Delete' solves this annoying problem by scheduling the file for deletion whenever the computer is next restarted.

Shredder
When you delete a file from Windows, it is not really gone in the sense that you might think. The operating system just marks the area where the file was located as available so that it can write to it in future. However, the file itself can still be recovered by a variety of specialist software – possibly for malicious purposes. The 'Shredder' utility enables you to overcome this potential threat to your privacy by permanently deleting files so that they can never be recovered.

How often should I run system cleaner on a normal home computer using Internet?

If your using Internet more often then its better to run this at every startup. It takes only few minutes and you will see good speed and better performance.

I would recommend to run cleaner once in a week..
